Self-esteem!

Today I want to talk about self-esteem. Self-esteem is the love you have for yourself and for who you are. I have to accept the fact that I used to have a low self-esteem, but thanks to God I’m learning to love my body, and to respect myself. What I mean with respect myself? Easy. I used to call myself fat, ugly and lots of more negative adjectives. The thing is that one day, I woke up and thought about all the time I have lost, about all the tears. I opened my eyes!

That day was the begginig of a new me! I started looking for ways to success in this new road. Lots of blogs helped me, but the most important of all is that I helped myself! I invented a routine. All the mornings I take a positive quote from “The jar of quotes”( I made it), and I plug it on my bulletin board. This way I start my day with positivism.

And how do I keep that good mood all day? I accept that it’s not always easy, but it’s possible. I focus on the good things of my day, plus I do something I love every afternoon after school. Another thing you can do when you’re feeling down is a list. Make a list about the good things you have(they don’t have to be fisical caracteristics), your dreams and your goals!

One thing I want to let you know is that if you need help to feel better look for it, there are professionals who can help. Or you can talk with a family member or friend. You dont have any friends? I”M HERE!!! –> just_a_random_girl@outlook.com

  1. […]   Without doubt, I’ll choose to marry with the person I love. This is just an example, there are definitely more way to be proud of yourself. For example, in some of my post I talk about some of the feelings I have about myself. In the case of “Have you ever wonder” I talk about some things I’m doing to become more proud of myself, and to obviously love me more. Also, I have to say that I’m proud of some some others, such as “Believe in yourself!” and “Self-esteem!”. […]

  2. Agreed. I totally understand where you’re coming from because I was like that once as well! The realization that things doesn’t always have to be “Dark” and negative can be very liberating and comforting.

    1. I think we all have been in that place, just in different ways. Absolutely agree with you, getting rid of all those “dark” thoughts is liberating.

Thanks, buddy! I’m also proud of you, because as you said, you were in that dark spot and you managed to grot out of it. (:
